I stumbled across your blog. Very interesting. One thing has always bugged me and perhaps you can give me some insight. Do you think the current totalitatian regime of Iran was a direct result of The overthrow of Mossadegh, the policies of the Shah, the policies of the west Or just the fruits of Islam itself?

I believe it is too simplistic to come up with blames, for some injustice that is ongoing and when there are so many interlocking interests which naturally seek the rule of the status quo. But if you want to know the reason why Iranians are being brutally repressed and exploited then it is definitely the result of the ignorance and gullibility of the Iranian people itself. I know the Iranian people have learned a very hard lesson which will be remembered for the rest of its history.
